To see an image of VIS or where it is located on the Polar spacecraft body, we have a sketch of the spacecraft with an instrument callout labeling the various instruments. We also have an image of Polar's Despun Platform where the VIS and other imaging instruments are located taken. The photo was taken in a final assembly clean room at Lockheed Martin Astro Space Division's East Windsor complex in Hightstown, New Jersey by a LMAS employee.
