Overview of XVIS

XVIS is a graphical interface to the image data generated by the VIS instrument. It is able to perform routine image processing functions such as histogram equalization and smoothing, as well as VIS specific functions such as applying an undistorted image projection and solar zenith angle computations.

A number of utilities are provided such as windows to view magnified portions of an image, windows to view pixel values, and graphics windows that generate row and column plots of data.
